Inventory In Out Stock

Create an overview report to view information about how long an item is In and Out of Stock for a specific Date Range. Customize the report by selecting Locations as well as specific Item Categories or Manufacturers.

Access
Grant permission to User Profiles in Access User Profiles > select a User Profile > Menu Security > Reports module > Main Menu > Purchasing
Grant permission to the individual report > Purchasing > Inventory In/Out Stock

Create Your Report

Use the drop down for Items and select either

  • All Items
  • Exclude Clearance Items
  • Only Clearance Items

In Days In Stock enter the number of days Items have been in stock. Use operators to indicate how the amount should be used by clicking on it. Select

  • Greater than or equal to
  • Less than or equal to
  • Equal to
  • Not equal to

In Days Out of Stock enter the number of days the Items have been out of stock. Use operators to indicate how the amount should be used by clicking on it. Select

  • Greater than or equal to
  • Less than or equal to
  • Equal to
  • Not equal to

Create a Date Range by selecting

  • Start Date using the drop down calendar or enter a date using the mm/dd/yy date format.
  • End Date using the drop down calendar or enter a date using the mm/dd/yy date format.

Location Selection features All Locations selected by default. Select One Location and enter a Site ID.

To focus on a specific item, select Item Filter. See Using an Item Filter for more information.

Use the Category section to select All, one or multiple Item Categories.

Use the Manufacturer section to select All or one or multiple Manufacturers if applicable.

Select Preview to view the report onscreen.

Select Print to send the report directly to the default printer.

Click the Export checkbox to activate the Select File button use to choose the location of save the exported .xls file.
